QUIDDITCH TRIUMPH AT RETAKE 2024: TOOK FLIGHT ON BROOMSTICKS
MUMBAI, December 24, 2023 - Quidditch, the highly anticipated pre-sports event leading up to the national mass media festival Retake, unfolded on December 24, 2023. Organised by the Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia and Communications (B.A.M.M.C) department of L.S Raheja College of Arts and Commerce in Mumbai, the event drew inspiration from the captivating anime theme, "Realm of Odyssey."
Quidditch, an annual pre-sports event, witnessed spirited participation from 11 teams representing different colleges across Mumbai. The event inspired by the Harry Potter movie, was marked by friendly competition and vibrant enthusiasm.
Initiated in a way to engage and entertain Mass Media students, Quidditch has become one of the most awaited events leading up to Retake. The pre-sports event also provides a platform for friendly competition but adds a unique and energetic dimension to the entire festival experience.
The success of Quidditch is proof of the dedicated efforts of Team Retakethe organising body responsible for planning and executing this eventComprising an advisory, chairperson, co-chairperson, vice-chairpersonsheads of various departments, and volunteers, Team Retake worked tirelessly for months to ensure the seamless execution of Quidditch. Quidditch is just one facet of Retake, the national-level Mass Media festival set to take place on January 8th and 9th, 2024. This year's theme, "Realm of Odyssey," immerses participants in the captivating world of anime and promises a unique and unforgettable experience.
