Gyms to reopen from Dussehra in Maharashtra - Chief Minister
Mumbai (Krishna Lalwani): Maharashtra government is going to allow opening of gyms and fitness centers from Dussehra, following strict rules of corona in the state was announced by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray . According to a press release issued by the Chief Minister's Secretariat, the Chief Minister held discussions with the representatives of the gym, gymnasium and fitness center on Saturday through video conferencing. During the conference, he told the delegates that in order to reopen gyms again it would be mandatory to follow all the guidelines to prevent spread corona virus . He said that the gym, gymnasium and fitness center are for the health of the public and thus care should be taken to prevent spread of corona virus in the state . For this, strict adherence to SOP will be mandatory. Chief Minister also cleared that Steam Bath, Shower and Zumba Yoga is going to be completely closed as per the instructions of 'SOP'. At the same time, the delegates also assured the Chief Minister that they will strictly follow the SOP. During the conference , Principal Adviser to the Chief Minister Ajoy Mehta, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Ashish Kumar Singh, Additional Commissioner of Mumbai Municipal corporation Ashwini Bhide, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Vikas Kharge, Principal Secretary of Health Department Pradeep Vyas, Dr. Shashank Joshi and Maharashtra Gym Owners Association's Member K. Nikhil Rajpuriya, Senior journalist Sandeep Acharya, Karan Talreja, Abhimanyu Sabale, Mahesh Gaikwad, Hemant Dudhwadkar, Sainath Durgay, Rajesh Desai, Yogini Patil, etc. were also present.
